CAC Covid-19 Policy

UPDATED MARCH, 2022

Dear Awesome CAC Clients,

While we continue to move toward a more “normal” veterinary experience and follow CDC guidelines, a number of COVID-related precautions do remain in place:

In most cases, it is appropriate to come right into the lobby to check-in, drop off a sample, or pick up medications / patients, etc… Space is especially limited in our exam rooms so we may ask you to step out while we conduct our exam / draw blood / etc… You can still watch through our exam room windows!

In hopefully rare cases, due to limited space in our lobbies, we may ask for your patience in waiting outside or in your car if we are at capacity, but will try our best to accommodate!

Of course, if you prefer your pet’s appointment to be handled in a curbside manner rather than in-person, we are happy to accommodate this as well. Just let us know upon calling to check in.

So long as the community COVID level in Arlington and surrounding counties remains low masks will be optional for employees and patrons.

As a reminder:

  • Please do not enter the building if you are experiencing any potential symptoms of COVID, including cough, fever, and shortness of breath.

  • Due to space limitations in our exam rooms and to allow for appropriate social distancing, exams and procedures may be performed in a neighboring exam room or the treatment area; or we may as you to step back into the lobby.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we navigate these changes together!

Sincerely,

Your Clarendon Animal Care Team
